Well tolerated and as effective in patients with chronic schizophrenia who had been resistant to or intolerant of conventional neuroleptics; widely used as 1st line treatment to ameliorate psychotic symptoms in youth. Indications: Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Autism-associated Irritability (in children aged five and up).
